About the Client
Boke Farm is a Lusaka-based, family-operated farm that grows and supplies supermarkets, distributors, hotels, and individuals with a variety of fresh and tasty vegetables.
About the Role
Boke Farm is looking for an experienced driver with some experience in the food packaging industry. This may involve knowledge of handling and packaging various types of foods to ensure safe transport. It may also involve familiarity with loading techniques to maximize space efficiency and minimize potential damage during transit.
Responsibilities
- Safely operating a variety of vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport goods.
- Following traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Assisting with packing and stacking of goods/foods in the vehicle.
- Inspecting vehicles for maintenance and ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Communicating effectively with staff and customers to coordinate deliveries.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise during transportation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate.
- Driver’s License C1 is a MUST.
Compensation
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
