Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators for tasks such as digging, loading, and leveling.
- Ensure safe operation and compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an excavator operator, preferably in mining or construction.
- Valid excavator operator certification/license.
- Knowledge of excavator maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
